We were here on a Friday night. We had to wait maybe 5-10 minutes for a table. We got a little high top in the bar which was fun because there was a nice crowd of people to watch. We were able to carry on our private conversation even though it was a little loud. The food was excellent. I ordered a glass of Pinot noir, lemon lentil soup and the falafel entree. It was a fun place to be on a Friday night. I will definitely be back. I'm looking forward to eating on their patio when the weather is nicer.

We enjoyed a light lunch here before the Detroit Free Press marathon. The service was quick and we enjoyed what we ate.

I love the food. It was quick and delicious. I enjoyed the outdoor seating in the summer. Perfect. Happy tummy. Happy me.

Today we catered lunch and it was so yummy. We got the shawarma bowl set up, fattoush salad with feta and the eggplant salad. (Get the eggplant salad!) The hummus is perfect and creamy with lots of tahini flavor, the chicken was well-seasoned, and all the salads were super fresh. The fattoush salad dressing is the best I've had, and the eggplant salad is amazing, trust me. I make something similar, and this was just as good! Delivery was on time and the staff was professional and friendly the whole way through the process. Can't wait to order again!

The location of Anita's Kitchen is great, with it being really central downtown Detroit, only a few minutes walk from Campus Martius park. It's a really great place for lunch, with really good portions that end up giving me enough food for two meals. It's a quick place to grab food and has seating inside as well. I think it's a solid go-to place for lunch, especially if you work downtown, and would recommend it if you're in the mood for healthier food or something more middle eastern.

I love Anita's Kitchen! This location in downtown Detroit is probably the one I frequented the most given its ease of ordering and proximity to the place where I used to work. The food here is so so good, but my main complaint is how poorly the food travels. Most of the time, I am carrying out from here, and their food is hot and within a matter of minutes the condensation from the food sort of crumples the container it's in as well so everything just gets soggy and doesn't travel well. Other than that, the service here is great, online ordering is your best friend, they will typically always finish an order earlier than the time you set it to for pick up as well, so take that into consideration as you're placing your order. They have a very modern, fast casual set up of tables and chairs set up inside the restaurant for you to sit and eat at, just making note that it'll probably be pretty jam-packed on weekdays during the lunch rush given its location!

I come here quite often. I absolutely love the chicken fetoush salad. The meat is well seasoned and the salad dressing that is out of this world. I can't help but to think about the oatmeal cream every time I come in here because those small delights were soooooooooooo good! I miss you oatmeal cream pie. The rice pudding is good, just need some cinnamon on top. I like the lemon tart pie as well. Get here soon!
